Avenue of the Volcanos Tours

The so-called “Avenida de los Volcanes” or “Avenue of the Volcanoes” is a scenic route through southern Ecuador known for the breathtaking beauty of the mountains on either side of the road. The road south of Quito passes near Cotopaxi National Park, home of the perfectly-shaped Cotopaxi Volcano. Further to the south, a number of volcanoes including Tunguragua, Chimborazo and El Altar become visible on clear days. Southern Ecuador is gorgeous and great for hikers, climbers and other explorers.
