Located in canyon country, Arequipa is a great place to look for hiking and trekking packages. Most tour companies are located on Jerusalén, Santa Catalina and near Plaza de Armas offer tours of Colca, Cotahuasi, Toro Muerto, and the city.

You can also buy air, train, and bus tickets, and inquire about longer trekking excursions. Prices fluctuate significantly so your best bet is to shop around. In general you get what you pay for, so make sure you know what’s included in cheaper tours. Always make sure your company, and its guides are official.
